Chalk Paint Furniture
Midnight Oil is beautiful rich navy blue chalk paint furniture with a suggestion of gunmetal to create depth. This colour is a personal favourite, especially on large pieces such as wardrobes or sideboards.
120ml sample pot is great for your smaller projects or to test the colour in your space. 300ml will give you more coverage for small tables, stools and photo frames.
Make sure the finish is completed with the Carnauba Wax as that is how you will know the colour is true. The wax finish can transform the colour from an almost denim blue to the rich french navy that will be your finished product
Mezzie and Frank paint is effectively self-priming, so preparation of furniture is minimal and fuss-free; no prior sanding or priming is required on most finished surfaces. Tannin rich timbers may require an oil or spirit based stain block to prevent leaching.
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust and peeling paint.
Apply directly to most surfaces e.g. painted, veneer, timber, brick, concrete, stone or metal. Paint adheres to most surfaces without the need for priming.
One litre of Mezzie and Frank Chalk paint will cover 11 to 14 sq. metres depending on the surface texture, application technique and wastage rates. 120ml sample pot is great to test the colour in your home, or to complete small projects. Try this with a stencil on a drawer front and you will see the transformation immediately. Make sure your final coat is sealed by applying the Carnauba Wax with a soft cloth.
Simply rinse the brushes in clean water making sure that runoff does not enter drains.
