Painting with chalk paint
This fabulous hobby is growing fast – and painting with chalk paint has never been easier. Using the 100% Australian Mezzie and Frank range, what could be more appropriate than this beautiful strong True Blue? True Blue is a vibrant blue that can be used as is, or mixed or layered with other blues and whites to achieve the beachy look so many of us love.
True Blue blends beautifully with the other blues in this gorgeous range – Bondi, Freemantle, Noosa – and going into the greys, Harbor Bridge and Docklands.
Mezzie and Frank paint is effectively self-priming, so preparation of furniture is minimal and fuss-free; no prior sanding or priming is required on most finished surfaces. Tannin rich timbers may require an oil or spirit based stain block to prevent leaching.
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust and peeling paint.
Apply directly to most surfaces e.g. painted, veneer, timber, brick, concrete, stone or metal. Paint adheres to most surfaces without the need for priming.
One litre of Mezzie and Frank Chalk paint will cover 11 to 14 sq. metres depending on the surface texture, application technique and wastage rates.
Simply rinse the brushes in clean water making sure that runoff does not enter drains.
