Light Grey Chalk Paint - Docklands
This Industrial Grey chalk paint is a light grey. If you like to mix things up a little, try using one of the blues with this tint. A layering effect using, say, Bondi or Bass Strait with the light grey of Docklands gives you a finish that has depth and adds interest. If you would like inspiration as well as learning about the art of chalk painting furniture, look here. Mezzie and Pam (aka Frank) are a pair of great teachers. They have coached both stockists and individuals to transform our homes.
Mezzie and Frank grey chalk paint is effectively self-priming, so preparation of furniture is minimal and fuss-free; no prior sanding or priming is required on most finished surfaces.
Tannin rich timbers may require an oil or spirit based stain block to prevent leaching.
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust and peeling paint. Apply directly to most surfaces e.g. painted, veneer, timber, brick, concrete, stone or metal. Paint adheres to most surfaces without the need for priming.
One litre of Mezzie and Frank Chalk chalk paint will cover 11 to 14 sq. metres depending on the surface texture, application technique and wastage rates.
Simply rinse the brushes in clean water making sure that runoff does not enter drains.
